What it was

Speaker app and voice UI: device management, onboarding, content, and smart home.

What was stuck

The speaker needed a companion app and persona-fit VUI definitions, with continuous bad-case improvement.

Approach

• Designed networking, device management, tutorials, playback history, and search to guide exploration.
• Benchmarked competitor ASR/NLU/TTS, defined VUI against our persona, and iterated on bad cases for accuracy.

Outcomes

• Established a versioned app backlog and an iterable VUI definition.
